My Hair Journey

I started my healthy hair journey October 8, 2010, Relaxed .......after watching tons of youtube videos, I was inspired by lots of the youtube long hair gurus I decided to document my journey on youtube as kikicouture10. I started my journey after taking out my sew in from September 2010 and found that my hair was badly damaged so I started using the entire Aphogee product line after seeing Ateyaaa video on youtube and it had helped out tremendously the products are protein based so they helped strengthen my hair......I then became a product junkie trying to find what worked best for my hair.....I put together my hair regimen June 18, 2011 after 8 months of being on my healthy hair journey (check out my hair regimen - above section of my blog) my hair wasn't responding to certain products it use to and that is because I started my transition to natural hair....for those of you who are not familiar with transitioning it is when you stop relaxing your hair you grow out your natural hair texture and slowly clip off your relaxed ends until you are fully 100% Natural so my last relaxer was Feb 3, 2010...... I haven't had a relaxer for 22 weeks as of  7/7/11 so I'm loving my transition thus far as I'm looking forward to seeing where my hair will be in 2ys.......check out my hair journey below in order in which you see it.
